Kaelyn helps people open back up to life and powerfully reignite their truth and purpose to find fulfillment and ongoing happiness. She's a firm believer in positive messaging, spending time in gardens, and sleeping late whenever possible (she is certainly my soul sister. Kelly now resides in the beautiful state of Oregon with an MS from the University of Texas at Arlington and a BS from the Texas Tech University.
Kelly lost a parent at a young age to suicide—back when talking about suicide was almost a societal taboo. People told her that her mother would go to hell, or didn’t say anything at all. She didn’t have a choice but to turn inward and gaze upon her own heart for answers and support. The message that came back from God and from inside her was “Don’t worry about others” – your heart is the bible.
How do you find the space to look inside and see what’s there? There are two types of fear that impeded this. There's the fear that we feel when we're not being ourselves and were out in the world and were pretending. It’s a chronic fear. And that's kind of the doorway we have to go through a little bit to get to the point where we start looking inside our heart.
The fear of going inside and looking at your heart is huge. It’s scary, almost universally to everyone. It's a scary place to turn around and start looking inside ourselves. We think we're going to find some wretch inside. Kelly’s mission is to turn people inward and help them navigate through those levels of fear so that they can see they are not wretches inside. All that is there is the truth.
